In this role, you will:

  • Be responsible for the entire lifecycle of accounts payables, including payment processing, coding, posting, reconciliation, and issue resolution. You will maintain the accuracy of accounting records for reliable reporting, auditing, issuing of 1099s, and Sales and Use tax. 
  • Assist with client billing by generating accurate prebills, assisting with the editing process, issuing completed bills to clients, and responding to questions regarding client billing.
  • Process semi-monthly payroll; entering of pay data and taxes, timesheet processing, benefit deductions, and time off balances.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement of Accounting functions, including further automation of accounting systems. 
  • Assist with monthly general ledger closing process, reconciliation and reporting. 

Requirements: 

  •  Experience in a law firm accounting department and a degree in accounting.

Job Type: Full Time, 40 hours per week

Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 per year, commensurate with experience
